An international Summer School was held in The Ostbayerische Technische Hochschule Amberg-Weiden (OTH – Technical University of Applied Sciences) at the period of 5-15 of November. The topic of the school was “centralized and/or decentralized power supply: advantages and disadvantages”.  Students of Siberian Federal University, in particular the student of the School of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering Voronenkova Julia, participated in this school and visited the conference at FAU Nürnberg. The School Programme provided students with alternative ways of electric and power supply in both theoretical and practical approaches (the use of solar and wind energy, geothermal energy, the energy of wasted water, CHP and boilers). In this case the participation of Russian students in this School allowed them to expand and exchange their knowledge about the topic with foreign specialists. The summer school was supported by Russian Academic Excellence Project 5-100.
